About the MCH Auxiliary
Giving Through the United Way
MCH Auxiliary Board Members
The MCH Auxiliary contributes to all areas of life at the hospital, and operates Tapestry, the facility's full-service gift shop and The Boutique, MCH's thrift shop which offers residents convenient and inexpensive means to purchase clothing and household items. The Auxiliary has also contributing to many other projects which directly benefit the quality of life for residents staying or living at MCH.
Among the many programs that the MCH Auxiliary supports:
- Operates Tapestry, the hospital's gift shop which features gifts, greeting cards, collectibles and clothing. (For hours and additional information, please call Tapestry at 760-6158)
- Operates The Boutique, the hospital's thrift shop which features used items at inexpensive prices. (For hours, please call 760-6161.)
- Sponsors the Annual Harvest Craft Faire with proceeds to benefit MCH residents.
- Maintains a clothing fund for residents in need.
- Subsidizes resident transportation for individual and independent outings.
- Provides assistance for visits to the MCH Hair Salon for residents .
- Funds the Resident Therapeutic Volunteer program.
- Supports aquarium maintenance.
- Assists with Holiday decorations.

United Way
The MCH Auxiliary is a United Way Donor Designated Agency. The funds designated to the Auxiliary during the annual United Way Campaign are used directly to support resident needs including clothing, hair salon services, resident transportation and resident programs.
