Clinical Risk Coordinator

This is a professional position at Monroe Community Hospital responsible for identifying, reviewing, and investigating potential violations of facility policy and procedure as well as State and Federal regulations, with focus on patient safety and prevention of resident abuse, neglect, and mistreatment.  The employee reports directly to, and works under the general supervision of a Quality Assurance Manager or other higher-level staff member.

Food Service Worker (Full-Time)

SUMMARY: This is routine work involving responsibility for the sanitary, efficient and safe performance of duties related to the preparation and serving of food. Work is performed under the direct supervision of Food Service supervisory personnel, who inspect the work for adequacy and conformance to standards. Supervision of others is not a responsibility of this class.

Laundry Service Worker

SUMMARY: This is routine work involving responsibility for the performance of duties in the laundry at Monroe Community Hospital.  Work is performed under the direct supervision of the Supervisor of Laundry or Senior Laundry Service Worker who inspects the work for adequacy and conformance with agency standards.  Supervision of others is not a responsibility of this class.  Does related work as required.

Office Clerk

SUMMARY: This position is responsible for the independent performance of varied clerical duties requiring a moderate degree of decision making. The use of a personal computer for word processing and database entry is an integral part of this position.  The work is performed in accordance with well-defined objectives, policies and procedures, but detailed instructions are given for new or difficult assignments.  The work is typically submitted in its final form and is subject to general review by superiors.  The employee reports directly to, and works under the general supervision of a higher-level staff member.  Does related work as required.

Prospective Payment System Case Manager (provisional)

SUMMARY: This position is located at Monroe Community Hospital and is responsible for overseeing and coordinating a prospective payment system (PPS) for Medicare reimbursements, coordinating Medicaid case mix valuation, and coordinating payment requirements established by third party payors.  Duties involve projecting the type and intensity of the resources eligible Medicare beneficiaries will use throughout their stay at the Hospital relative to the projected costs.  Duties also involve classifying and maintaining resident payment and care categories in order to document and ensure appropriate reimbursement.  The employee reports directly to, and works under the general supervision of the Deputy Executive Director or other higher level staff member. General supervision is exercised over a professional staff.

Food Service Worker (Part Time)

Guard (Part Time)

SUMMARY: This position is responsible for the enforcement of peace and order on the grounds and in buildings of a governmental agency or department, and the prevention and investigation of theft, vandalism, accidents and illegal entry, etc. Employees direct visitors to parking areas or offices and check visitor passes. The employee reports directly to, and works under the general supervision of, a supervisor, manager, or special investigator. Supervision of others is not a responsibility of this class.

Material Service Worker (Part Time)​

Description of Duties: This position at Monroe Community Hospital is responsible for pick-up and delivery of residents/patients, hospital supplies, equipment, and mail both within and outside the facility in a safe and timely manner. The position is also responsible for performing the proper techniques in decontaminating and sterilizing medical equipment. The employee reports directly to and works under the direct supervision of a senior level employee and receives instructions on a daily basis. Supervision is not a responsibility of this class.

Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from high school or possession of an equivalency diploma.

Telephone Operator (Part Time)​

Description of Duties: This is a communications position responsible for relaying incoming, outgoing, and interoffice calls by operating a switchboard or phone console.  Duties involve providing callers with information regarding department or agency services and phone numbers, and securing information from callers in order to provide assistance.  Duties include performing related clerical duties such as looking up information, updating directories, and greeting the public.  The employee reports directly to, and works under the general supervision of a higher level clerical or professional staff member.

Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from high school or possession of an equivalency diploma plus six (6) months paid full‑time or its part‑time equivalent clerical experience involving answering a telephone to relay calls or take messages.
