At the May 14th meeting of the Monroe County Legislature, Colleen Rose, Deputy Director of Monroe Community Hospital, was unanimously confirmed as the facility’s next Executive Health Director.
On April 8th, Monroe County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo announced, to a crowd of MCH residents and staff, her intent to nominate Colleen Rose to fill the role of Executive Health Director, assuming her new position following the retirement of current Executive Health Director Gene Larrabee, effective June 28, 2019. Rose will be the first woman to serve as MCH Executive Health Director.
“Colleen Rose is an exceptionally qualified professional who has the experience, expertise, and commitment to caring necessary to lead our Monroe Community Hospital. I have full confidence in Colleen’s ability and I am proud to name her as the first woman to serve as MCH Executive Director,” said Dinolfo.
Rose currently serves as the Deputy Executive Director of Monroe Community Hospital and previously served as the Director of Strategic Initiatives and Assistant Administrator for the Fairport Baptist Home in Fairport, NY. Rose holds a Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from Roberts Wesleyan College, is a licensed Nursing Home Administrator in New York State and was awarded the 2017 Leading Age New York Thomas Clarke Memorial Award.
“I am extremely honored that County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo has entrusted me with the responsibility of serving as Executive Health Director of Monroe Community Hospital,” said Rose. “I look forward to continuing to serve our residents and staff by working every day to ensure that our facility remains a great place to work while providing compassionate, state-of-the-art, comprehensive care.”
