In partnership with Monroe County’s Department of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Monroe Community Hospital supports a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee that meets regularly to foster a culture that is inclusive, equitable, and representative for all.

 Together, they work to cultivate an environment that promotes equitable access and opportunity in accordance with applicable laws.

 Monroe Community Hospital’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee focuses on the following key areas to advance:

• Supporting, recognizing, and celebrating staff;

• Acknowledging and honoring diverse cultural events, holidays, customs, and traditions;

• Implementing mentoring opportunities; and

• Driving forward other initiatives proposed by employees.
