Friendship Place at Monroe Community Hospital is an innovative unit supporting individuals with Alzheimer’s and dementia. Residents receive secure, compassionate care, specialized daily assistance, and opportunities to reconnect with family, friends, through meaningful activities in a modern, home-like environment.
Care from the Heart
The staff at Friendship Place are specially trained in dementia care and provide individualized plans to maintain function, reduce anxiety, and support residents’ well-being. Daily activities focus on abilities, social engagement, and comfort in a structured, familiar, and modern environment.

Innovative Design
Our 25-unit, 17,000-square-foot unit was designed to play a key role in care by allowing residents to move safely in a secure environment.

Modern Spaces
We provide large private rooms, a secure outdoor area, motion controls, memory boxes, and a variety of other supportive features.

An innovative approach mimicking the natural patterns of daylight to actively promote comfort, health, and overall well-being.
