Ways to Support MCH Residents

DONATE A GIFT
When you support MCH through the MCH Auxiliary and MCH Foundation your donation goes directly to programming, therapeutic, and other needs for our residents. Your donations are also tax-deductible. Click below to support projects that promote resident independence through the Foundation and enhance quality of life through the Auxiliary.

DONATE TIME
If you are interested in making a positive impact in the lives of MCH residents, consider giving your time as a volunteer. Opportunities include visiting with residents, assisting with activities and events, helping with special programs and much more!

DONATE ITEMS
The MCH Thrift Shop accepts donations of gently used men’s and women’s clothes, shoes and accessories. We also accept handbags, purses, jewelry, knick-knacks, and housewares. Please, no furniture, sets of dishes, CDs or DVDs. The MCH Auxiliary also accepts craft supplies, batteries, and postage stamps.

WHEELCHAIR DONATIONS
The MCH Foundation accepts donations of electric or power wheelchairs. All donated wheelchairs must be in good working order, and donors should be able to drop them off at 435 East Henrietta Road during regular business hours. The MCH Foundation does not purchase wheelchairs, and each donation is carefully inspected for wear and tear.

ATTEND A FUNDRAISER
MCH and its partners invite members of the community to participate in a number of annual events to support programs and enhance the quality of life for residents. To learn more about a specific fundraiser, click below.

PERFORMANCES AND MORE
MCH welcomes local schools, universities and members of the community in for free musical performances, intergenerational activities, community service days, and much more. Please contact Laurie MacFarlane, Supervisor of Volunteers, or Mary McDowell, Director of Resident Programs, on how you can help.
