Kitchen Contest Sparks Resident Creativity

MCH's Food & Nutrition team brought a little friendly competition into the teaching kitchen with a special “MCH Chopped” event. Inspired by the popular cooking show, residents were challenged to create the best-tasting sandwich using a variety of surprise ingredients.

Participants got creative as they mixed flavors, textures, and ideas to build their unique creations. Everyone earned an award, from the "Skyscraper award" for tallest sandwich, the “Mad Scientist” for using the most interesting ingredients, and many more.

The event highlighted not only culinary skills but also connection and community. It was a fun, engaging way to bring residents together while encouraging creativity and enjoyment around food.
