Heartfelt Act Inspires MCH Community

Medical caseworker Grace Cevicelov is one of hundreds of employees at MCH recognized by her peers in the first half of the year putting residents first by going above and beyond.

Whether arranging last-minute transportation so a resident could spend a holiday with family, ensuring room changes were seamless, or building meaningful relationships with residents and their loved ones, Grace leads with compassion.

One of her most heartfelt acts was going through the proper channels to adopt the pet of a resident receiving end-of-life care and bringing him in to comfort the resident.

Grace continues to be a "mom" to Chester, the corgi she adopted. Her kindness, dedication, and unwavering commitment embody the spirit of MCH, making a lasting difference in the lives of our residents.

One co-worker noted that her resident-first approach "should be an example of what compassion and heart truly look like here at MCH. Thank you for your diligence, your teamwork, compassion and tenacity. You're amazing!"

Grace was among 185 staff members recognized at MCH during the first half of 2026 for going above and beyond while living the organization's core values.
