Every insurance carrier is different. It is your responsibility to understand your insurance policy; however, our admitting, business, and utilization review offices can help answer any questions you may have regarding coverage. One thing many insurance plans have in common is that the patient must actively participate and require the skills of a licensed therapist for services to be covered. All insurance plans also have an appeal process, if coverage is denied.

Our rehabilitation program has demonstrated remarkable success in helping patients regain their independence by combining an individualized, caring, and supportive atmosphere with the newest practices and state-of-the-art technology. Approximately 75% of those admitted leave to a lower level of care.

Our program offers a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach to meeting patients’ individual needs. Depending on those needs, a patient may receive anywhere from half an hour to three hours of therapy daily. We currently offer physical therapy on Saturdays for all short-stay rehab patients, with sessions typically lasting half an hour.

Your length of stay will vary depending on the complexity of your condition and the goals you need for a safe discharge. Our average length of stay is about one month, but many patients are here for just a week. The care team will discuss your discharge plan with you on an ongoing basis. ​

Yes! The rehab unit is on the fifth floor of the Faith Building, which is separate from the long-term care units. All rooms are private, each with its own bathroom.
