MCH celebrates the opening of Friendship Place, a newly renovated 25-bed memory care neighborhood designed to provide a safe, welcoming and supportive environment for individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia and other cognitive impairments.
Monroe County Executive Adam Bello, the Alzheimer's Association, MCH Advisory Board as well as community partners, residents, families and staff gathered for an opening reception on September 3 to mark an important milestone in MCH’s commitment to person-centered dementia care with Friendship Place.
