Alyssa Tallo Joins RBJ's Power List
Monroe Community Hospital Executive Health Director Alyssa Tallo has been named to the Rochester Business Journal’s 2026 Healthcare Power List, recognizing leaders making a significant impact on the health and well-being of the community.

The annual Power List highlights professionals who have helped their organizations innovate, adapt and strengthen services while addressing the evolving needs of patients, residents and staff.
Tallo was recognized for her leadership and vision in a rapidly changing industry. In her profile, she discussed how artificial intelligence might enhance care, the importance of leaders uniting people around shared goals, and how the strength of the region’s healthcare ecosystem continues to drive innovation and collaboration.
Reflecting on MCH’s bicentennial, Tallo said the organization’s 200-year history demonstrates the importance of adapting to meet the changing needs of the community.
“For two centuries, MCH has adapted to meet the changing healthcare needs of our community,” she said, “That history of resilience gives me confidence that today’s challenges will become tomorrow’s opportunities.”
Under Tallo’s leadership, MCH has continued to evolve to meet the changing needs of its residents and the community. She has championed new programs, expanded specialized services and advanced improvements across the facility, while keeping resident-centered care at the heart of MCH’s mission.
In recent years, MCH has opened a new state-of-the-star Simulation Training Center, a new Palliative Care & Hospice and a new secure Memory Care Unit called Friendship Place, in addition to providing long-term skilled nursing care and rehabilitation services.
Also, the county run facility consistency delivers quality care and programming for its residents while employing a large, diverse staff.
