MCH Auxiliary Celebrates Anniversary
The Monroe Community Hospital (MCH) Auxiliary celebrated its Diamond Anniversary in September with a special reception featuring harpist Susan Morehouse, along with desserts, coffee and punch.
All MCH residents received a complimentary gift as part of the celebration, marking six decades of service and support for MCH residents and programs by the MCH Auxiliary.
Established in 1966, the MCH Auxiliary is a nonprofit charitable organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for residents at MCH. Since its inception, the Auxiliary has raised more than $1.6 million to support hundreds of projects, programs and amenities that bring joy, enrich daily life and foster a sense of community at MCH.
Its contributions have supported a wide range of initiatives, including art programs, the Bee Observation Hive, Camp Friendship, music and pet therapy, special events, dance performances and concerts, and much more.
The Auxiliary also operates the MCH Thrift and Gift shops and hosts various fundraisers through the year to support its programs, MCH residents and others. For more information, and to turn support the Auxiliary, visit https://www.monroehosp.org/mch-auxiliary.
