Halloween Fun Lights up a 'Spooky' MCH

MCH recently hosted its annual Spooktacular Halloween event, bringing together approximately residents, family and community members, and staff for an afternoon filled with festive fun and community spirit.

The celebration featured a variety of entertainment provided by MCH staff, along with Halloween-themed displays, a pumpkin decorating contest, music, face-painting, games plenty of candy, treats, and surprises for guests of all ages. Approximately 315 people came through MCH to view the spooky décor, admire creative costumes and celebrate the season.

MCH extends heartfelt thanks to its community partners for helping make the event possible, including Wickham Farms for donating pumpkins, as well as Morrison Health, Wegmans, Costco, the MCH Auxiliary, the MCH Foundation, and nearly a dozen volunteers, some from the Rochester Institute of Technology, for their generous support.

Their contributions brought the spirit of the season to life and made the day even more memorable for residents and their loved ones. Congratulations to MCH's personnel department for their winning movie theatre-themed pumpkin display (pictured).

Events like the Spooktacular reflect MCH’s commitment to creating joy-filled experiences that foster connection, laughter, and a true sense of community for everyone who calls the hospital home.
