Popular Auxiliary Fundraiser Sells Out!

The Monroe Community Hospital (MCH) Auxiliary is proud to share that this year’s Vegas Night fundraiser is officially sold out. Set for Friday, May 2, 2025, this annual event brings neighbors, families, and local supporters together for a fun-filled evening that raises critical funds for the residents of Monroe Community Hospital.

Guests will enjoy classic casino games, a dinner buffet, raffle prizes, a silent auction, live music, and a cash bar. But the real heart of the evening is the purpose behind it: to bring joy, comfort, and dignity to approximately 400 individuals who call MCH home.

“Vegas Night is more than a fundraiser,” said Cari Radell, President of the MCH Auxiliary Board. “It’s a celebration of community. The residents we serve are our loved ones, our neighbors, and our friends. Every dollar raised helps us create meaningful experiences and provide the kind of care and connection every person deserves.”

Monroe Community Hospital is one of the largest skilled nursing facilities in the country, with 566 licensed beds and residents ranging from newborns to centenarians. Many live with complex medical needs and rely on MCH not just for care, but for a sense of home and belonging.

The MCH Auxiliary is made up of dedicated volunteers who work year-round to support programs that uplift and inspire. Events like Vegas Night help fund special activities, from creative therapy to family events to one beloved tradition: the annual car show, where classic vehicles roll in and light up the faces of residents and families alike.
