Monroe Community Hospital (MCH) recently came together to honor a truly special group of nearly 125 employees nominated for the Spotlight Award, celebrating their outstanding contributions that bring MCH’s mission and values to life.

Overall, 180 nominations were submitted in the second quarter of the year, recognizing employees across 13 different departments. These nominations came from peers, residents, volunteers, and family members to highlight staff who go above and beyond.

“Our people are the heart of Monroe Community Hospital. Every day, they go above and beyond with compassion, dedication, and professionalism,” said Executive Health Director Alyssa Tallo. “Celebrating their achievements through the Spotlight Program reminds us all of the incredible impact each individual has on our community. I’m proud to work alongside such an exceptional team.”

To celebrate, each nominated employee was invited to a special event on July 25 — National Milk Chocolate Day — where they received chocolate treats, a Spotlight lanyard, and more.

MCH thanks all of its nominees (with nearly 350 submissions so far this year) and encourages everyone to continue recognizing those who make MCH shine by submitting a Spotlight Nomination today at monroehosp.org/recognize-mch-staff.
