Monroe Community Hospital recently honored 65 employees at its annual Longevity Awards, recognizing a combined 775 years of service and celebrating the type of dedication that has helped shape MCH into the trusted community institution for nearly 200 years.

This year’s highlight went to six employees hitting the 30-year milestone, a stretch starting when Bill Clinton was president, Blockbuster Video was in operation, and Starbucks began rolling out its Frappuccinos.

“While the numbers are impressive, what truly matters is your impact, the individual lives you’ve touched, the culture you’ve strengthened, and the example you’ve set for others,” Alyssa Tallo, Executive Health Director, told the gathering crowd. “Your service touches countless families in Monroe County and beyond – and today have helped set the standard for MCH.”

A special thanks also went out to Karen Windsor, the Food & Nutrition staff, and the rest of the MCH team for pulling together such a fun and rewarding event!
